Funny Stuff!

If you're wondering what I'm dealing with today...here is a picture

Taking care of two patients. One is faking it though. Can you guess which one?

They both look pretty happy if they're supposedly recovering from surgery. One is faking it and one is on pain meds.

I still can't tell...they both look sad now

I don't think Zoya is faking...she looks like she is in pain.

She's even signing "hurt" here.  That clue really throws me off....

I felt so bad for Zoya she even convinced me to let her have pizza!

Then I saw her doing this:
and I knew then and there she was faking all along!

When I told her I figured her out this is what she did....

Muuuuaaaaaahaha Mom I fooled you!

What a stinker! She will do anything for a little extra attention....sheesh! ;)

On a serious note Shawn is recovering nicely from his surgery!

  3. You really need to find Zoya a girly ball cap that she can wear backwards like Shawn. That would be great! Thanks for the pictures, we can all see how happy, loving and loved Zoya is. (Not that anyone worried about it, ha ha)

  7. What a cute little "patient" Zoya is!! I'm so happy you all are adjusting so well :-) Thank you so much for your comment on my blog; we are so encouraged by it! The tongue sucking doesn't bother us (we let our other kids suck their fingers to help them sleep), but the teeth grinding and head banging are bad. I've just never seen it before and didn't know if it was orphanage, DS, or just random behavior. Thanks again!!

  8. OH, She s so cute. Wrapping a bandage over body parts, is good for body awareness and deep pressure as well, did you know? We had to do it with our son, Kallen as part of his OT programme. He just loves it.
