I wrote the other day how Zoya said "I want that" to me with no prompting at all...I tried to get it on video here. I'm so proud of her! It is probably hard for others to understand what she is saying but between her signs and words I think it's pretty cool...you can see how far she's come! You will see her "groping" for words and nothing comes out...that is very common with apraxia and something we are working on in therapy. Check out my big girl!
Wow! Great job Zoya!!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, sweet Zoya!! She brings a smile to my face every day--ty for sharing her accomplishments!
ReplyDeleteThere is beauty in the struggle...in Zoya, in all of us when we stretch outside of our comfort zones. Oh what an amazing victory when she does find her words. So proud of her and You, my friend, are a fantastic mama!
ReplyDeleteYea, Zoya! Now she's learned the phrase basic to all sinful humanity--lol.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, girlie!
ReplyDeleteBIG girl! But now dont you havent to reward her every time she asks for something? :)
