I Want That!

I wrote the other day how Zoya said "I want that" to me with no prompting at all...I tried to get it on video here. I'm so proud of her! It is probably hard for others to understand what she is saying but between her signs and words I think it's pretty cool...you can see how far she's come! You will see her "groping" for words and nothing comes out...that is very common with apraxia and something we are working on in therapy. Check out my big girl!

  2. There is beauty in the struggle...in Zoya, in all of us when we stretch outside of our comfort zones. Oh what an amazing victory when she does find her words. So proud of her and You, my friend, are a fantastic mama!
