Prayer Requests
A friend of mine noticed that on the left hand side of our blog...some way down the page...under the "prayer requests" section....almost all the specific prayers we had listed were answered!! God is good. I updated that section to reflect the prayers that are in our hearts this morning. If you are praying for us before court today, please check out the updates. We have so many prayer requests today...none of which are too big for our God! My nerves this morning are wacky and I just want 3:30 to get here fast so I can stop thinking about it!! I am praying that we will have peace with whatever the outcome of court is today but I already know that if it isn't what we were hoping for we are going to have a hard time. I just keep telling myself that eventually Zoya WILL be our daughter and we WILL get through this....God already knows what day, hour, and minute Zoya will arrive home with us....so we just have to trust.

Sarah and Shawn,
ReplyDeleteThe Lord hears your (and our) prayer requests and they will be answered as the others have. We will be thinking of you today!!! Now go get 'em and bring Zoya home!!
Peace and courage and faith from GOD to you on that "historical" day!
ReplyDeleteFear not - HE is ABLE!!May the judge just be touched by the Power of GOD that they let you go HOME with angel Zoya.
We will be with you in our prayers this afternoon!!
Christina
praying it all works out and quickly!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am following your posts daily. Today is a huge day for you and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Zoya will be yours before long...and I can't wait until you are all back home and settled in (and Zoya can sleep in the morning, when she is ready for a little nap!). You make the perfect family :)!
ReplyDeleteCourage to keep free falling, because I know God will either catch you and set you gently on the ground, or He will teach you to fly. Either way it is exhilarating! Praying for the italian family as well. I met a girl at the Sec of State in SC yesterday as I was apostilling everything and she had been working for 4 years to adopt a sibling group from Peru. Can't wait to see how your day goes. I am heading back to pick up all my papers today and get them sent to Yulia as soon as possible. Shelly warned me that Marina is not in a good place timewise and much has to be done soon to save her from a one way ticket to the institution. Not a good day for news from us but we are working hard. I love your story, and your family is so beautiful. Zoya is such a light in a crazy world. Cathy Bachman I just realized you have court in 5 minutes...praying peace for your insides. I bet you are a wreck because I am a wreck for you...
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear your news. PRAYING HARD that things are wrapping up right now and that the judge has made you Zoya's parents officially on paper...because you most definitely already are her parents in each other's hearts :)!
ReplyDeleteI am following your every step today, WE are with you to give you the extra strength you need at this time. May God give you strength and peace in your hearts. You are amazing to have come this far in this remarkable adoption. You have more courage than most young families. Let the judge believe as we all do. Love to you all, Debbie N
